Overview

Zurag ("we", "us") is an AI photo and video editing app operated by Zurag MN. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.

Data We Collect

• Account information — email address, Apple Sign-In identifier, display name, subscription status, and credit balance.
• Photos and videos you upload — images and videos you choose from your library to edit or animate. These may include faces or other identifiable features, but we do not use the device camera and we do not perform on-device face detection or biometric identification.
• Text prompts — instructions you type to describe the edit or generation you want.
• Generated results — AI outputs we store so you can view, download, or continue editing.
• Purchase data — subscription and in-app purchase records processed by Apple (App Store) or QPay (Mongolia).

Face Data

Zurag does not collect face data separately from photos you upload, does not scan your face with the camera, and does not create face templates or biometric identifiers on your device.

When you upload a photo that contains a face, that entire image is sent to our third-party AI providers solely to fulfill your requested edit or generation (for example, style transfer, background removal, portrait enhancement, or optional entertainment features). We do not use uploaded face imagery to identify you, build face profiles, sell data, or train our own models.

How We Use Your Data

• Provide AI image and video generation services you request
• Manage your account, credits, and subscriptions
• Store your chat history and creations
• Prevent abuse and enforce our terms
• Respond to support requests

Third-Party AI and Service Providers

Before your first generation, the app asks for your consent to send data to third-party AI services. We share data only as needed to provide the service:

• fal.ai— receives your uploaded photos/videos and prompts to run AI models and return generated results. Some models are powered by OpenAI, Flux, Kling, PixVerse, and other providers through fal.ai's platform.
• OpenAI — receives your text prompts (not your photos directly) to interpret your request and route it to the appropriate generation model.
• Supabase — hosts authentication, database, file storage, and secure server functions in the cloud.
• RevenueCat — manages App Store subscriptions and in-app purchases on iOS.
• QPay — processes optional local payments in Mongolia when you choose that payment method.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. We require that they protect user data and use it only to provide services to us.

Website Analytics

Our website (not the iOS app) may use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — for example, to count page views and sign-ups that result from an ad. This is used only on the website. The native iOS app does notinclude the Meta Pixel and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Storage and Retention

Your account data, uploads, chat messages, and generated results are stored in Supabase cloud infrastructure. Uploaded source photos/videos and results are kept while your account is active so you can access your creations. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the iOS app, which permanently removes your profile, chat history, stored uploads, and generated results from our systems.

Third-party AI providers may temporarily cache inputs during processing according to their policies; we do not control their internal retention beyond the processing session except as described in their documentation.

Your Choices

• You choose whether to upload photos or videos.
• You must consent before data is sent to third-party AI services.
• You can delete your account and associated data from the app.
